A new bell rises in Monte

May 11, 2020: A new bell was installed above the 16th-century church of the monastery. Click the photo to view a brief video.

Construction begins again at the Monastero di San Benedetto in Monte after the easing of the Italian government's lockdown restrictions in Italy. Here, workers are seen laying the last terracotta roof tiles on the church.
